Is this your first time to Edinburgh?

This will be my first time performing at the Fringe! Always dreamed of taking my work to the Fringe, in France we have the festival d’Avignon where I performed a few times but not for my own work so this is amazing, I am delighted and can’t wait for it!

What are the big things you’ve learned since 2025 and have you absorbed any of the lessons yet?

In the last year I would say that I have learnt to rely on others more. I have been so used to do everything by myself, to have to be in control of it all but with the amazing team I have for this show I can depend on them, they are so professional, reliable and fun to be with. I’m still in the process of trying not to stress about something that is out of my control but that might be something to work on for ever …!

Tell us about your show.

I wrote the show 8 years ago while being in treatment for my non hodgkyn lymphoma. It went through 2 shorter versions, first one was very different, second one was way more similar. It needed to change as I was changing after everything that happened.

It premiered at Manipulate festival last February because we finally had the money to make it happen. The year before I met Tanya my producer and she has been amazing to make this show happened.

What should your audience see at the festivals after they’ve seen your show?

My friend Sadiq has his show at Summerhall in the evening “Tell me” all the performers are amazing and its a super strong show. We met with Sadiq on the pole years ago, and finally being at the Fringe with him, with our shows talking about two different illnesses… I cannot wait to see his show again
